If an essential home maintenance or safety project has become financially out of reach, Fixing It Forward SWFL may be able to help.
Our initial focus is on low-income older adults in Lee County. Depending on available funding and resources, assistance may also be available to veterans, people with disabilities, families, and other residents experiencing verified hardship.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When applications open, you will be asked to provide:
• Your contact information and property location
• A description of the work needed
• Photographs of the affected area, when available
• Information needed to confirm eligibility
• Proof that you own the home or have permission for the requested work
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Assistance depends on eligibility, urgency, project scope, funding, and the availability of qualified service providers.
