Fixing It Forward SWFL is a community-powered home maintenance and safety initiative serving residents throughout Southwest Florida, beginning with a focused pilot program in Lee County.
Our mission is to connect residents experiencing financial hardship with the local professionals, volunteers, donors, and organizations capable of helping them maintain safer, healthier, and more secure homes.
WHY WE EXIST
Many essential home projects are too expensive to ignore but too costly for a household already struggling to make ends meet. A damaged step, overgrown property, clogged gutter, deteriorating paint, or overdue repair can eventually become a larger and more dangerous problem.
We believe neighbors should not have to face those problems alone.
OUR APPROACH
Fixing It Forward raises charitable funds, reviews requests using clear eligibility standards, and matches approved projects with participating local service providers. Whenever possible, funds and resources remain within the Southwest Florida community.
Our work is guided by dignity, transparency, accountability, safety, and measurable local impact.
